As I said these Case Copperlocks, Mini Copperlocks and Cheetah automatic switchblade double action conversion knives are very rare and hard to come by. Owning a Case automatic switchblade knife qualifies you for bragging rights among in the know knife collectors. They ARE expensive. There was a time I thought that the expense was related more to the rarity of the item rather than reflecting the actual costs involved but I'm here to tell you that after seeing everything that has gone into making these meticulously crafted beauties, they are quite a DEAL!!! Anybody that knows what the time of a master tool and die maker and shop time on several $150,000 PLUS pieces of equipment using custom made jigs and fixtures costs can appreciate why these Case double action automatic switchblade knives are the price they are and a bargain at that.

I know the shop owner personally and he will stand behind these knives come hell or high water. If you ever have a problem and he's not dead, he'll take care of it. Trust that.

These knives are EXTREMELY hard to find and very rare. The conversion process is unbelievable, time consuming and complicated. I visited the shop and was amazed at the incredible complicated and precise custom machined jigs, CNC machines and other proprietary process that I've promised not to divulge for obvious reasons. I was thoroughly impressed and somewhat taken aback by what must have been HUNDREDS of hours of research and development to say nothing of the trial and error that has gone into converting these knives.

Tangerine orange Case Copperlock DA automatic with uncommon arrowhead shield. Opens with a press on the shield or manally. We have been waiting a VERY long time to get some more of these Case automatic Copperlocks back in stock and get inquiries about them all the time. The shop that converts these does them on a limited basis and they run a number of them while their jigging and equipment is set up. Right now we are in the salad days. They are producing Case DA Automatics right now so we have a fairly good but quickly dwindelling selection. When they stop converting them it's anybodies guess when or even if there will be any more available. A few of the Case models have been converted for a few years and the Cheetahs have been much more recent but I doubt that there are more than a few hundred Case knives converted to DA automatic on the planet. These are prized possesions in MANY Case and Auto knife collections.

The spine has been file worked in a sepentine pattern exactly like the spine of the Copperlock below it the entire length of the spine of the knife and blade terminating where the clip begings. Nicely balanced with a shimmering flow that really sets this knife off as something rare and vwery special.
